Tomorrow, March 21, is WORLD POETRY DAY!

We have a nice collection of poetry books in the library!

I LOVED reading Shel Silverstein's poem when I was growing up 

(...and I still do!)

Shel wrote silly poems... 

and I always loved the pictures that went with each.

One of my all-time favorite poems of his is Peanut-Butter Sandwich, 

from his book, Where the Sidewalk Ends.
