Tuesday morning, the 9th of October, Ms. Stacia
and a group of 12 sixth, seventh, and eighth graders participated in an international
writing competition, Write Path.
Write Path began in 2008 in the UK and has
grown each year to now include over 60 schools from around the world.
The student participants worked in pairs to add on to a
story that is started by a well-known author.
With one hour and a 250-word
limit, each team worked together brilliantly to develop interesting and fun
additions to each story.
From our teams’ story additions, other schools in a
variety of countries will be adding on to the stories throughout the day.
Once again, the AIS middle school
students showed how incredible they are and their writing skills shone bright.

AIS Middle School's Team for WRITE PATH 2012:
At the end of this progressive writing competition, the
participants will vote on their favorite parts of each story in order to
determine winning schools.
All of the stories will be published as a book, so
each participant can consider him/herself a published author!
You can read more
about Write Path and view the AIS teams’ writings at the following ning:

comments to the story starters from 09/10/2012.
Great job to
all student participants!
